CLASS Descriptions


Kids Jiu Jitsu (Ages 4-6*)
Jiu Jitsu class for ages 4-6 years old. This class will work on basic body movements and fundamental positions of Jiu Jitsu. It is a requirement that kids in this earlier age group can take instruction and not run around the gym or mat on their own. In some cases, 3 years old may be appropriate as well. Lots of fun and games and techniques disguised in games.

Kids Jiu Jitsu (All ages)
Jiu Jitsu class for all ages (4 – 15). Although this is a broad range, it allows for more mix of age groups and class will usually be split up for techniques with extra supporting instructors.

Kids Jiu Jitsu (Ages 10-15*)
Jiu Jitsu class for mid to upper age group. This class will have a little more technique and sparing focus and less games than the other classes. Many kids in this class are preparing to compete in a tournament during different times of the year.

Adult Jiu Jitsu (All levels)
Jujitsu class for all adults ages. This class has a rigorous warm up, technique session and sparring session. Although this can be attended by all levels, some techniques may be more complicated at times for new people. As long as new people are attending the beginner class, they can attend this class as well. Since there is a wide range of ages and levels, please keep others and yourself safe and respect others' age and any handicaps or injuries.

Adult COMBAT Fitness
This is a rigorous fitness class to work all areas of the body while incorporating both ground and stand-up striking techniques. This is a great class for both beginners to repeat common techniques and experienced students to build their cardio and stamina for their level. This is more of an adult class ages 15 – 65+, but kids are welcome to join with accompanying parents.

Adult Krav Maga (All levels*)
This is a street style self-defense and striking martial art class. There are many aspects to this class including rigorous punching drills, holding pads, light sparring, and self-defense techniques with active partners. Stress drills are an important part of this class. This is more of an adult class ages 15 – 65+, but kids are welcome to join with accompanying parent.
